Gaby Coker - Soprano

When Vinyl Street needed a soprano, Gaby came swooping down into the basement of the Armory with her vibratious vocal chords, leaving everyone in awe of her vocal prowess. Her chilling tones and whispering words will leave you wanting more. In her spare time she loves two things. Rock climbing and good company. When needing to unwind, you’ll find Gaby reading a romantic thriller by candlelight. Cuddled up by the fire, logs a crackling, and a couple sips of camomile tea buried deep under a fuzzy blanket is all it takes to reach the point of relaxation for Gaby.

Ethan Casavant - Bass

Ethan joined Vinyl Street in March of 2020 and got two rehearsals in before Covid decided the world didn't work anymore. But he's still hanging around! Originally from the great state of Maine, Ethan spent most of his life doing something artsical, from acting to singing to playing one of the several musical instruments he decided to dabble in. When he's not making music, Ethan spends his time rock climbing, training for his next race, or making some of the instruments he plays.

Anna Carey - Alto

Anna has been singing since before she could talk, and has been hooked on a cappella since being a part of Villanova University’s Nothing But Treble. After learning about Vinyl Street from fellow alumna, Kyra, Anna auditioned for Vinyl Street in 2018 as she couldn’t bear to think about her life without a singing group! She treasures the musical outlet at rehearsal and gigs, and Vinyl Street retreat (with the abundance of Oreos and queso) are some of her favorite weekends of the year. She even convinced her sister Lauren to follow in her footsteps and audition for Vinyl Street in 2022. When she’s not singing, with or without her guitar, she enjoys cooking and baking, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Sagar Shankar - Bass

Sagar brings the boom...literally! As Vinyl Street’s newest bass, he anchors the group with a warm, resonant tone that you can feel in your chest (and occasionally in your shoes). A proud RPI grad with a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Sagar somehow makes low notes and molecular bonds sound equally cool.
Originally from Westford, MA, he’s now living in Boston. Sagar loves to strike up a conversation, help or play at a moment’s notice, laugh at his own jokes, and make every rehearsal feel like a party. Equal parts grounded and goofy, Sagar’s energy keeps the group balanced, buzzing, and just a little bit louder.

Kyra Limerakis - Alto

Kyra joined Vinyl Street in February 2017 and she’s never looked back! Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Kyra comes from a family of music-lovers and singers. One of her earliest memories as a child is singing along with her mom and sisters to Celine Dion in her carseat. After years in more traditional choirs, Kyra found herself in an all-female a cappella group at Villanova University (shout out to Nothing But Treble!) and fell in love with a cappella music. Soon after graduating with her Masters of Theology & Ministry from Boston College, she reconnected with a fellow Villanova grad and VST bass who told her about VST holding alto auditions. The rest is history! Tuesday rehearsals are truly some of the best parts of her week. Since joining Vinyl Street, Kyra and her husband have moved to different places in Boston, most recently to Jamaica Plain, where they live with their son and black lab Nola. When not singing you can find Kyra running a nonprofit she helped found, physically running (or rather jogging) around the Arboretum, and running to chase her son who just learned how to walk.

Seth Wylie - Tenor

Vinyl Street's first soloist, Seth has been enthusiastically bopping through rehearsals since our founding. He’s been in a cappella groups non-stop since 1997, and even met his husband at an audition. There’s stiff competition in Vinyl Street for ‘top geek’, but you’ll find Seth in any conversation that involves mics, mixers, speakers, or really gadgetry of any kind. He loves singing loudly, a morning jog and meditation, charcuterie, an excellent discussion question, and being organized and introspective to the degree that he literally has a list of these types of things on his phone.

Blaine Rinehart - Soprano

Blaine joined Vinyl Street in early 2022, shortly after the group’s return to in-person music making. After being in a cappella throughout high school and college, they were so glad to have a cappella as part of their routine again, and to have found great community, friendship, and musicianship through the group! Outside of rehearsal, Blaine may likely be found crocheting late into the night, spinning away on the Peloton, or slowly making progress on new arrangements for VSt!

Tim MacKenzie - Tenor

Tim joined Vinyl Street in the summer of ‘09 after the suggestion from Nicole Cuff, who he did numerous musical adventures with at Needham High School. He didn’t do a cappella in college, but couldn’t wait to start singing again! Life has bent and changed over the years. So has Vinyl Street! With each rendition and concoction, Vinyl Street continues to fuel the deepest singing and music-related urges. Commuting from Longmeadow, he can’t wait to see everyone at rehearsal every Tuesday.

Matt Crawford - Bass

A tech guru, Matt’s ability to balance Vinyl Street and the technological demands of a world-wide corporation all through his cell phone is staggering. After losing his tenor range at the tender age of eight, he parlayed his bottom notes into a successful singing career that made him a mainstay of the WPI a cappella scene. Matt's son, our youngest groupie, is being brought up right on a hearty diet of a cappella and home-made, organic baby food.
In addition to his technological superiority and deep bassy nature, Matt is a master griller. Pioneering hamburger making by actually mixing things into the meat, his meat-meets-fire skills are invaluable at a BBQ.

Lauren Carey - Alto

Lauren started out in the audience as a Vinyl Street fan when she would come to see her sister, Anna, sing! Lauren joined the group in 2022 when she moved to Somerville, and now is a proud member of Vinyl Street’s alto sister squad! When she is not singing, you will find Lauren fangirling over Taylor Swift, trying out new ice cream places, or crafting!

Phil Dardeno - Tenor

A devotee of musical theater throughout high school and college, Phil felt like trying something new after graduation. He met Miss Moo and they co-founded Vinyl Street in 2007 - he's been doing this a cappella thing ever since. During business hours, Phil shepherds students through the pitfalls of college life. When not singing or pushing the gay agenda, Phil can be found entertaining friends and family in Danvers with his husband, kiddos, and their cat. A passionate cooker of delectable things, Phil's Italian upbringing drives him to feed people constantly. He is a strong believer in the joys of costumes and denies any physical similarity to Mark Zuckerburg.

Kelley Guerra - Tenor

When Kelley’s not commanding the courtroom, she’s commanding a mic. A Notre Dame Law grad with an Emerson communications flair, Kelley brings both brains and brilliance to Vinyl Street. Her voice—warm, rich, and effortlessly inviting—wraps every chord in comfort. Offstage, she keeps us laughing (and slightly in awe) with tales from her latest legal adventures. Equal parts powerhouse and ray of sunshine, Kelley reminds us that harmony sounds best when it’s equal parts soul and sass

Julie Lempitsky - Alto

Julie was welcomed into Vinyl Street’s Amiable Altos section in the summer of 2019, making this the fourth a cappella group of which she has been a member. Her introduction to singing sans instruments began when she was a high school sophomore in her all female a cappella group which alit a lifelong love for musical community. Many years and many wonderful memories later, she is thrilled to be part of this joyous group alongside her sister, Nicole. Julie has been teaching Kindergarten since 2013 and in her free time enjoys reading, drawing, yoga, traveling, and spending time with loved ones (especially her cat).

Annie Huppert

After a musical hiatus while soaking up public health knowledge, Annie moved back to Massachusetts in the summer of ‘09 and immediately set her sights on finding a musical outlet. Enter Vinyl Street via Craigslist ad. It’s been a dreamy creative + social ride since then for the group’s senior soprano (aka Captain Do It). Annie spends her days working to improve health care quality, and is relocating back to her homeland of Central Mass…just a drive away. She’s lowkey attempting to hike all the NH 4000 footers, enjoys reading, cooking and yard work, and finds great pleasure in channeling her energy and love into being a super auntie.

Nicole Cuff - Alto

Nicole sings with Vinyl Street as the longest serving treble voice, a member since 2009. She enjoys that Vinyl Street is a perfect mix of musicality and being carefree and has been a vibrant, rich community of friends over the years, past and present. She is also in a band called The 94s with her husband, James, and she works as an acoustician, helping to make rooms sound the way people want them to sound. She's a lifelong resident of the Boston area, and loves to support other local artists in the community, swimming, being outside, a good glass of wine, and gardening

Andrew Farina - Bass

By day, Andrew keeps the financial world in tune, working in finance. And by night he trades spreadsheets for sheet music. A proud College of the Holy Cross graduate, he brings both intellect and charisma to every rehearsal. With roots in musical theater and a gift for songwriting, Andrew’s vocal range stretches from smooth low notes to unexpectedly bold riffs, proving that the bass can steal the spotlight, too. Whether he’s harmonizing or debuting one of his own originals, Andrew blends discipline, wit, and just the right amount of drama to keep Vinyl Street in perfect balance.
